Welcome to the Victory in Christ App (“App”), operated by Victory in Christ (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users, including participants, group members, leaders, and any other role-based access within the App.

Victory in Christ is a Christ-centered discipleship and recovery platform designed to:

• Encourage spiritual growth
   
• Support addiction recovery
   
• Facilitate biblical counseling principles
   
• Provide guided prayer, journaling, and check-in tools
   
• Enable group participation and accountability
   

The App is intended for spiritual development and educational purposes only.

The Victory in Christ App does not provide:

• Medical advice
   
• Psychological treatment
   
• Psychiatric services
   
• Crisis intervention services
   

Content within the App, including devotionals, teachings, check-ins, guided exercises, and recovery tools, is for educational and spiritual encouragement purposes only.

If you are experiencing:

• A medical emergency
   
• Suicidal thoughts
   
• Severe mental health distress
   

Please contact 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately or reach out to a licensed medical professional.

Your use of this App does not establish a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or licensed counseling relationship.

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction)
   
• Provide accurate information during registration
   
• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
   

If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.

The App may use third-party authentication services (including but not limited to Discord and Firebase).

By registering:

• You agree to provide accurate information
   
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
   
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
   

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The App allows users to create content, including:

• Journal entries
   
• Check-ins
   
• Declarations
   
• Group messages
   
• Reminders
   

You retain ownership of your content. However, by submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Store
   
• Process
   
• Display
   
• Transmit
   

your content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

You agree not to submit content that:

• Is unlawful
   
• Is abusive, harassing, or threatening
   
• Promotes violence
   
• Contains hate speech
   
• Violates intellectual property rights
   

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

Victory in Christ may include group-based features.

Users agree to:

• Maintain confidentiality of group discussions
   
• Treat other members with respect
   
• Avoid harassment or manipulation
   
• Refrain from theological hostility or divisive behavior
   

Group leaders are not licensed therapists unless explicitly stated.

Violation of group conduct standards may result in removal from the group or termination of access.

The App may send:

• Spiritual encouragement notifications
   
• Reminder alerts
   
• Group notifications
   

You may disable push notifications in your device settings.

We are not responsible for missed reminders due to device settings, connectivity issues, or technical failures.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may store data including:

• Account information
   
• Journal entries
   
• Check-ins
   
• Group participation data
   

While we implement reasonable security safeguards, no digital system is completely secure. You acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

All App content, including but not limited to:

• Logos
   
• Course materials
   
• Written teachings
   
• Audio recordings
   
• Devotionals
   
• Design elements
   

are the intellectual property of Victory in Christ unless otherwise stated.

You may not:

• Reproduce
   
• Distribute
   
• Sell
   
• Modify
   
• Reverse engineer
   

any portion of the App without written permission.

Victory in Christ is rooted in historic Christian theology and biblical teaching.

By using the App, you acknowledge that:

• Content reflects Christian beliefs
   
• Interpretations may differ among denominations
   
• Participation is voluntary
   

We do not guarantee spiritual outcomes, recovery results, or behavioral change.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Victory in Christ and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
   
• Emotional distress
   
• Data loss
   
• Personal decisions made based on App content
   
• Group member interactions
   

You assume full responsibility for how you apply information provided in the App.

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account
   
• Remove content
   
• Restrict access
   

if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful conduct.

You may stop using the App at any time.

We may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
